Joseph C. Burns

As a young boy, Joey grew up on a Hay farm in Arizona, where he worked with his family on Burns Brothers Farms. He later attended Olivet Nazarene University where he played football and graduated with a degree in business and communications. He returned to the family farm and married his childhood sweetheart Michelle. In 1994 they left their family and friends to start their new lives in western Colorado, where Joey began to sell ranch real estate.
As their lives began to change so did their family. Michelle blessed Joey with five children; Brayden, Brittany, Bryce, Landen and Luke, which they now homeschool. Joey progressed in the real estate community and became the proud owner of Eagle Land Brokerage. His business continued to expand as Joey introduced a mapping and aerial photography company known as Land Information Systems.

As well as selling real estate Joey has had a call for missions. He has enjoyed leading philanthropic adventures to Nicaragua, Brazil, and Ecuador. Joey is also the chairman of the board for Samaritan Aviation.

Joey loves his work as a real estate broker, business owner, and Father, and it is his goal to treat his clients with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Bryan W. Walchle

Bryan was raised on a purebred cattle ranch, following in the legacy of four generations of Colorado ranching families. Working with his father on his ranch, the family’s big game outfitting business, and then into ranch real estate sales, Bryan has continued his family’s traditions of outfitting, managing, and selling ranches. He continues to grow the Colorado legacy, with his wife Jennifer, in raising the 5th generation in Western Colorado. These irreplaceable experiences have aided Bryan’s clients in large ranch transactions and beyond. Bryan has a unique set of skills in the industry, such as ranch management, development and habitat improvement, that has proved extremely valuable to his clients during and after a ranch purchase.

With over 20 years of ranch real estate experience, Bryan’s continued success in ranch sales stems from his authentic relationship with the western ranching lifestyle. His genuine enthusiasm and enjoyment in wildlife, hunting, and agriculture is provided by his hands-on connection with livestock and the land. While his primary focus is selling ranches, Bryan also keeps active in managing ranches, transitional land development, his outfitting business, and habitat restoration projects. Additionally, he specializes in building one-of-a-kind long-range rifles and suppressors. Reese H. Lovell

Reviews

Reese is intelligent, hardworking, gets things accomplished promptly, knows reality, and works diligently to help you through all of the issues that might arise during your closing of a contract.
We have worked with 4 realtors in the past and Reese has out shined all of them. He negotiates, researches, and advises so well that you know you have a winner working for you.
You will be happy with Reese. I highly recommend him for your land and home buying endeavors.

Dale & Elaine McCauley

We purchased our first home with Reese so you can imagine we had a lot of questions. He was so patient with us, answered all our questions throughout the process. The one thing we appreciated was his response time. It did not matter if it was a weekend or after he had left for the day he always responded back quickly to our calls or emails. We travel with our job so we were not available for the home inspection and walkthrough of our new home but Reese stepped up and traveled more than a couple hours to be there for us. Thank you Reese you are truly one of a kind.

Stan and Kathy Pena

Honest, dependable, responsive, knowledgeable, dedicated, patient, helpful, hard-working, and incredibly professional are all words I would personally use to describe Reese Lovell. Reese really knows the real estate business and is also surrounded with others at Lone Eagle that know the business incredibly well also. He has been an indispensable asset in our own real estate investing journey. Reese is amazing at keeping up with dates and deadlines and his communication skills are second to none. Not only have I gained a relationship with an incredible real estate agent but most importantly, I’ve gained a great friendship with a like-minded individual who understands our goals and shares our understanding of life. I would highly trust Reese with any and all real estate ventures and recommend him to any others searching for the best.

Bryan Lark, Montrose CO

We interviewed dozens of realtors and none even came close to Reese’s determination, loyalty or fairness. Selling a house is always an emotional experience, and ours definitely was. The moment Reese came to look at our property we instantly felt better and knew he was the realtor for us. Not only are we so impressed with Reese’s character and work ethic, but his real estate skill set is top of the line as well. He had a contract on our house in a very short time, and negotiated for us even when it didn’t bring him the most commission. He puts his clients first, hands down.

Ben & Beth Godbey, Montrose CO

Over the years we have bought and sold a lot of properties. We have worked with agents on both ends of a transaction. Reese has outshined all of those agents who came before him. What made him stand out as an agent was the ability to communicate and promptly resolve issues that arise when selling a property. As a young agent, he is on the cutting edge of all of the latest and greatest marketing tools such as outstanding brochure design, videos, and research. Our property sold days after hitting the market.

If you are in the market as a seller or a buyer, you will not find a better agent anywhere than Reese. We have made a friend for life.

Dave & Lisa Doorn

Reese was born and raised between the banks of the Arkansas River and the Ozark Mountains, where his passion for the outdoors and wildlife began. This passion grew into a unique skill set that lead him to be one of the youngest Wildlife Biology interns to ever be hired by the Forest Service Program out of Arkansas Tech University. It took only a few trips to see his family in Colorado before he fell in love with the mountains out west, and this love ultimately led him to relocate to the Rockies in 2014.

Beginning as an entrepreneur at the early age of 16, Reese brings a deep understanding of business and client relations. His diverse set of experiences has come together under one roof in the Farm and Ranch business. This, together with his faith, has aided him in rising to the top of his peer group in the real estate business. Reese credits the unique ranch brokerage of Eagle Land to his success, as he has taken part in some of the largest transactions in his region, now nearing 100 million dollars in transactions since joining the firm in 2019. Reese does not shy away from large and complex transactions. As he says, “data is king” in this business, and creating clarity using data has aided in getting complex ranch deals to a close.

The best compliment you can receive in this business is repeat clients. Reese is adored by his clients as they retain a lifelong relationship with him, even after the transaction, becoming their go-to ‘ranch guy.’ If you want to know more about Reese, his passion, integrity and hard work ethic, just read his past clients reviews!

Brooke Snyder

“I believe in the future of agriculture,” is a quote by EM Tiffany from the FFA Creed itself; Brooke was born and raised with this mentality. Brooke grew up in the Montrose and Rifle, Colorado areas as a fifth-generation cattle rancher, farmer, and land conservationist. Along with coming from a cattle and farming background, Brooke is also a third-generation outfitter and wildlife enthusiast. Throughout high school Brooke was very involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and 4H, Brooke was given multiple opportunities to travel to local, state, and even to different areas around the nation sharing her love for the agricultural industry. She decided to further her education in the ag industry by going to the University of Wyoming and studying Animal Science. During her time at the University of Wyoming, she was involved in Wyoming Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association. In these organizations she was able to learn many different life skills that she still uses to this day. Brooke has worked on many different cattle operations, including feedlots in Texas and even one in Delta, Colorado. Her family raises commercial mother cows, and they also raise hay every year to sustain the animals. She has her own small herd of mother cows that grow by the year, along with her passion for agriculture and life itself. She even decided to help grow her own herd by getting AI (artificially inseminate) certified with cattle. The family outfitting business is based out of the Rifle to New Castle area where she has spent many fall days assisting her parents during hunting season. Brooke’s whole life she has been creating different businesses for herself, such as a small clothing line advertising the outfitting business to raising cattle and creating business relations with people around the world. Not only does Brooke have knowledge about livestock but she also has knowledge on the improvement and management of wildlife habitat within the state of Colorado. Work ethic, passion, and drive are constantly furthering her along in life and are assisting her to grow personally and within the agricultural real estate community. Brooke is trustworthy, reliable, and honest. She feels extremely blessed to have grown up the way she has, and is looking forward to the opportunity to help you in your next real estate transaction.

Our Mission of Giving

Mission of Giving Header

Eagle Land Brokerage lives and breathes missions to support others in need around the world. We have plenty of food, plenty of love, plenty of fresh water – we have all the things we take for granted, and it can be hard to remember that others do not share the abundant resources we can access every day. Over the last 20 years we have been partnering with the Nazarene Church and Compassion International to provide hope to the children of Ecuador. Why Ecuador? Pretty simple: we see a need, and the local churches have the staff and resources to consistently care for those needs. We provide teams to help with construction and provide financial resources that in many cases would take locals 10 years to acquire and we are able to get it done in 10 days. We are passionate because it is effective, but more importantly, because it has eternal consciousness. The builders are often covered in mud and dirty from a long day’s work of building, but they are still smiling. And those smiles are reflected in the faces of those for whom the missionaries are building. Aside from mission work, Eagle Land gives 10% of the net proceeds of every single transaction they complete to local and global evangelical missions. With all the properties they help close, this adds up to quite a bit. We consider ourselves blessed beyond words that we get to make a living doing what we are passionate about. At the end of a transaction what excites us the most is how that enables us to give to those in need over and over again. That is the true reward of our labor!
